Melissa Frances Kit
Soft, classy, timeless...everything I feel when I see Melissa Frances' Attic Treasures kit. You get to play with everything you see in the above picture, cute little tin, luscious flowers and wonderful timeless papers! I want to sip a mint julep and watch a game of croquet (can you tell I've got some deeeeep south in me?) every time I get to work with her product. This time I altered a band aid tin to look like a little teapot! Perfect to hold a Mother's Day surprise!
I have to confess, I got a little physical with this tin. The first thing I did was rip the handle off the top. Perfect for venting a few frustrations! Try not to break the handle, as that is what is now the handle for the teapot, just covered in ribbon and attached. The spout is made from an old Stickles bottle that I cut in half and wrapped ribbon around! See...recycling at it's best!

A few days left!!
Lil' Lambs Boutique is holding their first contest HERE! The challenge is to use cardboard on a layout. Well, totally out of my comfort zone, let me tell you! But, when I saw this box print from Prima...well, it sealed the deal. I did a super quick and simple layout of Carter playing in a box...don't we all have some pictures of your kids in a box? It is real cardboard with a super cool print. I'm hooked!

Love Shack, Baby!! Card Kit!
Now if this mini card kit doesn't bring a smile to your face...I don't know what would! This one actually grabs you by the arms and shakes you a little to make sure you are awake :-) Bright, fun paper by the ever wonderful Bo Bunny...this collection is called Love Shack! (I hear the B-52's....) In this kit you get the wonderful paper, great trims, and a tiny little bottle of glimmery goodness in the form of Glimmer Mist Dreamsicle. You also get a cool "hello" stamp.
So, the first thing I did was spray the white Prima Flowers with Glimmer Mist and set them aside to dry. Next I cut (yes, you are allowed) my stamp apart. Just make sure you don't cut into the image. By cutting your stamps apart, it gives you a ton of more options. Then I squished the now smaller image into an oval on my stamping block and stamped the image. I cut it out by hand and die cut a scalloped Nestiblities oval. I cut the pom-pom's off and used them as the centers for the flowers!
Everyone would love to get this bright "Hello" from you!

A little eye candy!!
Honestly, I've been holding off buying Copic Markers. I'm just like you guys...wow, they seem expensive. But I caved, and I'm sooo happy. Just look at these colors...*drool*...
I'm gonna go play and I'll have some tutorials and ideas up soon.
And just a little sneaky peeky...look what Tammy sent me to play with! Hmmm...check back soon for some ideas to do with these beautiful kits!*...
