A Spring Has Sprung Giveaway!

This is my favorite time of the year... I just love the smell in the air...the first signs of daffodils and tulips....well, I pretty much love everything spring! So, I'd like to spread my springtime cheer.... how about a fresh spring giveaway?? Here is what I have in mind....

I'm sure most of you are familiar with facebook, right? We now have our very own page...but it's rather lonely after just having hatched today. Soooo..... here is the plan. Follow this link and become a fan of Lil' Lambs Boutique and introduce yourself on our "wall". On April 19th (the day I was hatched) we will choose one lucky fan and they will receive our Melissa Frances Fresh Twist KOTM!! Plus, all new fans will receive a coupon code for free shipping for our newly remodeled webstore which is very close to opening.

Now here is where it gets fun.... want more entries to win this fabulous kit?? Spread the word, but make sure you tell your friends that become fans to let us know that you referred them when they write on our wall. You will get one more entry for every person that gives you credit on our wall! So get out there and spread the word! And yes, we absolutely love our international customers and will be more than happy to mail the prize to you if you win!
Our plan is to use facebook to announce sales, promotions and all of our new arrivals. We will also be giving some great coupon codes that will only be available to our facebook fans.... so be the first to know and join today!

Here is a picture of the kit we will be giving away... isn't it lovely?

Enjoy this beautiful spring weather... rainy days and all!
Tammy

Spring Fever

The only excuse I have for a lapse in blogging is spring fever... I'm sure you can understand. Beautiful spring weather, spring cleaning and of course last week being spring break for us made it a slow week. We do still have new items arriving and we will list them as fast as we can. Our latest items are from Melissa Frances.... just beautiful! We've even made a deluxe kit using their stunning new line... Fresh Twist.

For our vintage fans... Attic Treasures

And some fabulous 8x8 album kits.... everything needed to complete an 8x8 album is included!
Themes for boys, and baby girls and boys all at an amazing price.
For our West Tennessee friends... we will be at the Northside Baptist Crop this Saturday, March 28th. If you haven't signed up... no biggie! They said they won't turn away anyone so be sure to stop by if you get the chance. We will be moving the store from Tennessee to Texas this summer so I will be giving some GREAT deals.... less to pack. ;)
And don't forget to sign up for the Vineyard Mission Crop on April 18th!
Hope to see you all there!

Little Bean ;-)

This may be one of the most fun projects I've completed.  This card was made for a "little" someone known as "Little Bean".  You know, the cute nickname you give a baby before it is born? Well, one of our good friends in our design group is having her first baby and we couldn't be more excited about her and her hubbie's little bean.  A voice recorder is hidden in the envelope so hopefully we will be getting to hear "little bean" soon!

So here's a little "thank you" to our friend for letting us share in their excitement. ;-)

Basic Grey ~~Bittersweet~~ Kit ideas

As usual, Basic Grey has the most beautiful paper lines! Bittersweet is perfect for Valentines Day, or anything about Love! With this kit that Tammy created, I designed two gifts, one a tin (perfect for jewelry...hint, hint gentlemen! Or a gift card fits in perfectly too!) that I covered in paper and slathered in Prima flowers, then spritzed the new Cherry Blossom Glimmer Mist all over! I used the Glimmer Mist to change the color of one on the off white flowers, and deepen the pink of the others, then spritzed it on the tag too. The Melissa Frances key hole is a perfect romantic center to one of the flowers too. I use the lace and wrapped it around the handle, tied the other ribbon into a bow and added a tag I made with my Spellbinder die. This was a quick and beautiful project!

Then I made a HUGE Valentine's Day card for my sweetie! I love how the papers reminded me of a quilt, so I had the idea to make a "crazy quilt" out of the papers. Hence the sentiment, "Crazy in LOVE"!

And there is still enough paper in this kit that after doing both of these projects, I have enough left over to do a layout too! How about you trying to make something special for your sweetie? Take my ideas and see what you come up with!

How to make a teacher happy!!

I have 10 teachers that I wanted to create little gifts for...and I made these for around $6 each, mostly just using up my stash! I found the tall glass apothecary jars for $4 each at Marshalls, and the smaller round jars at the Dollar Store for $1 each. I went to Costco and bought a HUGE bin of those wonderful *melt in your mouth* peppermint candy for $7. Ohhhh...you should smell my craft area!! Peppermint!!
My big hint is that all of the ribbon is held in place with glue dots...just a few! I also handpainted the "candy" on top with Staz-On ink! I made the circular tags using my Spellbinders Die, then just using up scraps laying around, from Prima Leaves, Melissa Frances Tags, Glimmer Mist, Stickles, buttons, ribbons, brads, twine, I created these special candy jars. I have written personal messages on the back of each of the tags....Won't these put a smile on their faces??? Merry Christmas, and thank you to all of you teachers out there!

Christmas Tag Album with Melissa Frances and Basic Grey

I (well, not me...really my husband makes me) have to wait until the day after Thanksgiving before the Christmas decor makes it's long trek down from the attic. Almost here! Almost here! I love the magic of Christmas, and my children are just old enough to be enthralled with all of the special magic Christmas brings. As I sat and thought about how Thankful I am for my family, I had a wonderful time creating this look back at the last few Christmas' with my children. I can't wait to display this on my scrap desk!! I loved mixing the vintage styles from both Melissa Frances' Christmas line and Basic Grey's Wassail line. Both so beautiful with lovely muted colors. I loved the Melissa Frances Christmas Ticket Book, I also covered some of Melissa Frances' chipboard shapes with fabric for extra texture, plus I added a few Tattered Angels Glimmer and Glass chips. Happy Thanksgiving! (and I can start decorating on Friday!)
