Little Yellow Bicycle ~ Sweet Love
Hello all! Here's a sweet little project I wanted to share with you using the beautiful new Little Yellow Bicycle line called "Sweet Love" Tammy is now has the paper kit in stock HERE. I see she has some beautiful kits with this paper too...HERE and a Card Kit HERE!
I love the vintage feel and colors, very soft and romantic. Although it does have sweet little hearts, little love birds and lovely written quotes, it doesn't have to be for Valentines projects alone! Here's an example of a little gift that could be for any time of the year!

Final Love Bandit Project
It's Valentine's week and in celebration here is my last project using the Bo Bunny Love Bandit Deluxe kit. Now you would imagine from the photographs that clearly I live in a sunny, warm place since my girls are in shorts for a Valentine themed layout, but you would be mistaken. Having been pounded for the last week and a half with two record breaking snowstorms, I just simply could not scrap another wintery picture. Give me sun, give me warmth!!!
I picked up the Bo Bunny die cut sheet for the background of my layout. I love it's unusual scalloped pattern. I created the heart on the background using the "Quilted Background" technique, for which you can find a step by step tutorial here, on my blog.
For the ruffled edge of the heart, I did the following: I cut 3/4" strips and used my scalloped deco scissors along one side. I then pleated the strips at various intervals. It took about 4-5 twelve inch strips to complete the heart. After gluing the pleated strips around the edge, I added the faux stitching on top.
The title work, "You Melt my heart" was a free download from the Bo Bunny blog. I copied it onto transparency and cut out the words to put around my layout.
Here's a close up of the "Quilted Background" and ruffled edges. I created a two-tone "Faux Pearl Swirl" to coordinate with my layout colors and accented with some paper roses created from Love Bandit paper scraps. The "Faux Pearl Swirl" technique is on my blog, here.
How are you celebrating Valentine's this week?

Webster's Pages ~On The Boardwalk~
We all love Webster's Pages!! The funky, yet vintage images are what draws us back time and time again. I fell in love with their latest release, On the Boardwalk...and Tammy has created an amazing Kit of the Month from the paper, plus added all sorts of vintagey embellishments and ribbon to jump start your creativity!
I combined a challenge from Moxie Fab World (creating some sassy Anne Taintor style cards) with this kit...and here and the cards I have created so far! What fun :0)

There's a Love Bandit on the loose.
Are you finished making your Valentine's yet? Here's some ideas using the Bo Bunny Love Bandit Deluxe kit. The cards you've seen before from the challenge a couple weeks ago. But now, I've created coordinating gift bags/boxes so I added them back in the photos for fun.
The gift bag below is a part of the deluxe kit. I used the Martha Stewart Deep Edge Daisy Fan punch to create the border. The tag is from the Love Bandit Tag page.
For my girls I made these adorable candy gift boxes using a template from My Time Made Easy™. For the first one, I used the Bo Bunny Double Dot sheet to create the gift box. The cardstock is so sturdy and is great for packaging uses.
I added some of the cute critters found throughout the Love Bandit line to decorate the sides. I picked up the heart border punched theme from the card and added it here to the box. The punch is the Deep Lattice Heart punch by Martha Stewart.
I added more punched hearts and a flower to the top for a cute finish.
Note: When attaching a flower to any packaging that opens at the top, remember to only glue one part of the flower to one tab. This allows for easy opening of the gift box.
I used one of the Love Bandit sheets for this gift box.
I picked up the pink background and fowl theme in the card to use on the gift box.
And another pretty layered flower for the butterfly closure at the top. Again, I only glued one portion of the flower down so that the box will be able to open.
Coming later this week....my last project with the Love Bandit line. Keep an eye out for it.
